Tripura Health & Family Welfare Department Recruitment: Dental Technician & Dental Hygienist Posts (2024)

Positions Available:
- Dental Technician
- Vacancies: 7 (UR – 04, ST – 02, SC – 01)
- Educational Qualification:
- HS (+2 stage) in Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) from a recognized board/institute.
- Diploma in Dental Technician or Dental Mechanic from a recognized institution.
- Desirable: Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok.
- Dental Hygienist
- Vacancies: 3 (UR – 2, ST – 1)
- Educational Qualification:
- HS (+2 stage) in Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) from a recognized board/institute.
- Diploma in Dental Hygienist courses from recognized institutions.
- Desirable: Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok.
Pay Scale:
The selected candidates will receive a fixed pay of ₹20,475 per month, which is 75% of the minimum slab of entry-level pay under pay level – 9 of the Tripura State Civil Services (Revised Pay) First Amendment Rules, 2018. Additional remuneration may be increased over time by the government.
Age Limit:
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 40 years
- Relaxation: Up to 5 years for candidates belonging to ST/SC/PwDs(Physically Handicapped)/Ex-servicemen categories.
Special Provisions:
- PRTC Preference: Candidates with a Permanent Resident of Tripura Certificate (PRTC) will be given preference during the recruitment process.
- Vacancies for Women: As per the GA(P&T) Department’s Notification No. F.23(17)-GA(P&T)/2022, dated 28th June 2022, 33% of the vacancies in each category are reserved for women.
- PwD Reservation: 4% of the vacancies are reserved for candidates with benchmark disabilities. In the absence of eligible PwD candidates, vacancies may be filled by other candidates.
Selection Process:
The selection will be based on a written examination (85 marks), followed by a viva-voce or interview (15 marks).
