Ministry of Rural Development Invites Applications for Accounts Officer on Deputation – Apply Now
The Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, has announced job openings for the position of Accounts Officer on a deputation basis, including short-term contracts. The department is looking to fill three vacancies at Level-07 (₹44,900-1,42,400) under the General Central Service, Group ‘B’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial category.

- Positions Available: 3 (Three)
- Pay Scale: ₹44,900-1,42,400 (Pre-revised Payband-2, ₹9,300-34,800 with grade pay of ₹4,600)
- Deputation Basis: The positions are available for individuals working in the Central Government, State Government, Union Territories Administration, or recognized research institutions, universities, or public sector undertakings.
Eligibility Criteria:

Application Process:
Eligible and willing candidates are requested to submit their applications in the prescribed format, as outlined in Annexure-II, within two months from the date of publication of this notice in the Employment News/Rozgar Samachar. Applications should be sent to the Under Secretary (Estt.), Department of Rural Development, Room No. 455, 4th Floor, G Wing, Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi.
Required Documents:
- Vigilance Clearance in respect of the official.
- Integrity Certificate and a statement showing major/minor penalties, if any, imposed on the officer during the last 10 years.
- Up-to-date APAR dossier of the applicant or attested photocopies of the last five years by a Gazetted officer, along with a disclosure certificate.
Important Notes:
- Applications received after the closing date or without the required documents will not be considered.
- Candidates who apply for the post will not be allowed to withdraw their application subsequently.
