Overview of the Position

The Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, invites applications for the post of Joint Development Commissioner (JDC) on a deputation basis. The selected candidate will be posted in the Bengaluru Cluster SEZ under the Cochin SEZ jurisdiction.


Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications:

  • Officers from Central Government services, including All India Services (AIS), organized Group ‘A’ Services, State Government officers, or officers of Union Territories, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies, or Statutory Bodies.
  • Holding analogous post on a regular basis; OR
  • 5 years of service in Pay Level 11 of the 7th CPC pay matrix.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in industrial development, foreign trade, estate development, and administration.

Age Limit:

  • The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed 56 years as of the closing date of the receipt of the application.

Job Requirements

The responsibilities include overseeing the operations and administration of the Bengaluru Cluster SEZ, promoting industrial and trade activities, and ensuring the smooth functioning of estate development initiatives.
