Key Details of the Consultant Position:
- Number of Positions: 3 Consultants (subject to variation based on departmental needs)
- Contract Period: Initially for 1 year, with the possibility of extension based on performance and requirement
- Location: Jaisalmer House, 26 Mansingh Road, New Delhi
- Eligibility:
- Retired officers at the level of Section Officer/Sr. Accounts Officer or above.
- Officers must have worked in Level 8/10 of the Pay Matrix as per the 7th CPC or in PB-III with Grade Pay 4800/5400 under the 6th CPC.
- Experience in areas such as Establishment Cadre Management, Vigilance, Pay Fixation, Pension, and Financial Matters is required.
- Proficiency in handling tasks electronically and computer literacy is essential.
- Age Limit: Maximum age of 64 years as of the date of the circular.
Job Description:
Consultants will be engaged in various establishment and policy-related tasks. They are expected to maintain a high level of confidentiality, work efficiently, and adhere to assigned duties.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Attend to tasks even during holidays or beyond regular working hours, if necessary.
- Participate in official duties anywhere within India when required.
- Ensure timely and quality completion of assigned projects.
Terms and Conditions:
- Remuneration: Consultants will be compensated based on Department of Expenditure guidelines.
- Working Hours: 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
- Consultants will be expected to mark attendance via the Aadhaar-enabled biometric system.
- No additional benefits such as Provident Fund, Pension, or Medical Attendance will be provided.
- The engagement is of a temporary nature and may be terminated with one month’s notice for various reasons, including unsatisfactory performance or if the need for a consultant ceases.
