Deputation Opportunity: Director (P&A) in Atomic Energy Dept

The Department of Atomic Energy (DoAE) is inviting applications to fill the post of Director (Personnel & Administration) at Pay Level 13 on a deputation basis. This opportunity is open to qualified officers from All-India Services, Central Services Group ‘A’, Central Government, State Government, and Union Territories. The position is located in Hyderabad.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Officers from All-India Services, Central Services Group ‘A’, Central Government, State Government, or Union Territories.
  2. Must hold posts in the same or analogous grades as Level 13 in the Pay Matrix on a regular basis.
  3. Completion of a 3-year cooling-off period since the last deputation, if applicable.
  4. Must not have exceeded the maximum deputation period of 3 years in any ex-cadre post.

Deputation Terms

The deputation will follow the terms outlined in the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) O.M. No. 6/8/2009-Estt.(Pay-II) dated 17.06.2010 and subsequent amendments. The period can be extended based on performance and organizational requirements.

The selected officer will be eligible for the Performance-Related Incentive Scheme (PRIS). This scheme rewards individuals based on their performance, Annual Performance Appraisal Report (APAR) gradings, attendance, and vigilance clearance. This variable component of the pay is designed to incentivize exceptional contributions to the organization’s objectives.

  4. A Vigilance Clearance Certificate signed by the cadre controlling authority, including information on any major/minor penalties imposed in the last 10 years.
