Railway Board’s letter No.E(W)2010/FU-1/4 dated 12.10.2015(RBE No.125/2015)
As per to Railway Board’s instructions, issued vide letter No.E(W)2014/FU-1/1 dated 30.07.2014(RBE No.83/2014), under the scheme of Scholarship for Higher Technical/Professional Education, @ Rs.1500 p.m. is applicable for the wards of railway staff in grade pay of above Rs.2400 and up to GP Rs.4200.
On the representation of recognized federations, Railway Board decided to remove the ceiling limit of GP Rs.4200(RBE No.136/2014), and accordingly the scheme was made available for the wards of all non-gazetted railway employees.
Now, Railway Board vide RBE No.125/2015 have communicated amendment to provisions relating to Staff Benefit Fund, but regrettably, ceiling limit of Grade Pay Rs.4200 has not been removed.
The Board are, therefore, requested to communicate necessary amendment to the provision relating to Staff Benefit Fund, duly removing the ceiling of Grade Pay Rs.4200, as has already been communicated vide RBE No.136/2014.
An early action in the matter shall be highly appreciated.
