MP Quota Scheme for KV Admission extended
Each Member of Parliament (MP) can refer 6 students for admission in an academic year in to Kendriya Vidyalayas
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, had come up with a new scheme in the month of August 2012, in which each Member of Parliament (MP) can refer 6 students for admission in an academic year in to Kendriya Vidyalayas situated in the constituency from which the MP is elected. If there is no Kendriya Vidyalaya is situated in his/her constituency the recommendation can be made to KVs in neighbouring constituency. The other main condtion in this scheme is the parents of recommended students should be belonging to the constituency from which the MP is elected (either by domicile or on account of having been soon-before posted there or else on account of exigencies of service).

Special Dispensation Admission under MP Quota extended up to 31st Oct 2012
Now in its letter dated 08.10.2012 addressed to Regional Deputy Commissioners, KVS has extended this Scheme up to 31st October 2012. The full Text of this letter is as follows.

Sir/Madam,
The last date of Special Dispensation Admission under MP Quota has been extended upto 31 October, 2012. This may be brought to the notice of all the Principals of Kendriya Vidyalayas functioning under your jurisdiction immediately for necessary action at their end.
This issues with the approval of Hon’ble HRM & Chairman, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.
