Tamilnadu Government has issued a GO for revising the Dearness allowance to the widows and dependent children of the deceased Contributory Provident Fund / Non-Pensionable Establishment beneficiaries of State Government and the former District Board employees who are in receipt of Ex-gratia payment of Rs.645/- p.m.

ORDERÂ :
In the Government Order first read above, orders were issued sanctioning the enhanced rate of Dearness Allowance @ 215% with effect from 1st January, 2015 to the widows and dependent children of the deceased Contributory Provident Fund / Non-Pensionable Establishment beneficiaries of State Government and the former District Board employees who are in receipt of Ex-gratia payment of Rs.645/- p.m.
2. In the Government Order second read above, it was ordered that the Dearness Allowance to the widows and dependent children of the deceased Contributory Provident Fund / Non-Pensionable Establishment beneficiaries of State Government and the former District Board employees who are in receipt of Ex-gratia payment will be sanctioned separately.
3. In the Office Memorandum third read above, the Government of India has enhanced the Dearness Relief from 215% to 226% with effect from 1st  July 2015  to  the  widows  and  dependent  children  of  the  deceased Contributory Provident Fund beneficiaries who are in receipt of Ex-gratia payment of Rs.645/-.
4. Following  the  orders  issued  by  the  Government  of  India, the Government has now decided to sanction the enhanced rate of Dearness Allowance with effect from 1st  July 2015 to the widows and dependent children of the deceased Contributory Provident Fund / Non-Pensionable Establishment beneficiaries of State Government and the former District Board beneficiaries who are in receipt of Ex-gratia payment of Rs.645/-. Accordingly, the Government sanction the revised rate of Dearness Allowance to the widows and dependent children of the deceased Contributory Provident Fund / Non-Pensionable Establishment beneficiaries of State Government and the former District Board beneficiaries who are in receipt of  Ex-gratia payment of Rs.605/- p.m. and revised to Rs.645/- p.m. with effect from 4th June, 2013 as indicated below:-

5. The Government also direct that the arrears of Dearness Allowance at  the  rate  ordered  in  para-4  above  shall  be  paid  with  effect  from 1st July 2015  to  the  widows  and  dependent  children  of  the  deceased Contributory Provident Fund / Non-Pensionable Establishment beneficiaries of State Government and the former District Board beneficiaries who are in receipt of Ex-gratia payment of Rs.605/- p.m. and revised to Rs.645/- p.m. with effect from 4th June, 2013.
6. The expenditure on Dearness Allowance payable to those who are in receipt of  Ex-gratia payment of Rs.645/-  shall be debited to the following Heads of Account respectively:
“2071. Pension and Other Retirement Benefits – 01. Civil – 800. Other Expenditure  –  I.  Non-Plan  –  AH. Ex-gratia  payment  to  families  of deceased – Non-Provincialised Employees – Contributory Provident Fund – 27. Pension – 09. Others (D.P. Code 2071 01 800 AH 2795)”
7. Pending formal authorisation by the Principal Accountant General, the revised Dearness Allowance shall be paid straightaway by the Pension Pay Officer, Chennai-6, Treasury Officers/Sub-Treasury Officers and Public Sector Banks concerned.
