New ACP Scheme – Himachal Govt relaxes condition
Himachal Pradesh State Government has recently announced New Assured Career Progression Scheme vide order No: Fin(PR)B(7)-59/2010 dated 09.08.2012, for Himachal Pradesh State employees on completion of 4, 9 and 14 years of service.
In Para 2 of the said Order dated 09.08.2012, it was mentioned that this scheme is optional. An existing employee “including employee having less than four years service” will have the option, either to continue in the existing Assured Career Progression Scheme after a service of 8, 16, 24 & 32 years or to opt 4, 9 & 14 years Assured Career Progression Scheme. An employee who wants to opt this new scheme will have to exercise an option within two months from the date of issue of this letter along with an undertaking in the enclosed proforma through a sworn affidavit that he wants to accept this scheme effective from 27.08.2009 and will not claim any arrears.

Now in the recent Order No: Fin(PR)B(7)-59/2010 dated 31.08.2012, Himachal Pradesh Government has decided to do away with the condition of sworn affidavit. Now, an employee who Wants to opt this new scheme can exercise an option within two months from 9th August, 2012 along with an undertaking as per the enclosed proforma with the aforesaid letter, on a simple paper.

In continuation of this department’s letter of even number dated: 9th August, 2012, on the subject cited above, I am directed to state that the matter regarding submitting of option for choosing either the new ACP Scheme (4-9-14) or old ACP Scheme (8-16-24-32) effective from 27.08.2009 alongwith an undertaking not to claim any arrears through a sworn affidavit as envisaged in Para 2 of the letter ibid has been reconsidered and after due consideration now it has been decided to do away the condition of sworn affidavit. Now, an employee who Wants to opt this new scheme can exercise an option within two months from 9th August, 2012 along with an undertaking as per the enclosed proforma with the aforesaid letter, on a simple paper.
