Subject: Regarding important update on Karma Points on iGOT Karmayogi Portal.
This is with reference to correspondence received from Karmayogi Bharat, regarding important update on Karma Points on iGOT Karmayogi Portal.
2. In a bid to bolster user engagement on the platform, Karmayogi Bharat has unveiled a new feature: ‘KARMA POINTS’. These points are meticulously calculated, taking into account users’ activities on the platform and their ongoing commitment to learning. Not only do KARMA POINTS serve as a measure of individual progress, but they also offer valuable insights into the comparative performance of different learners and departments. The method for computing KARMA POINTS is outlined as follows:
I. 5 KARMA POINTS are awarded when users self-register and login on iGOT Karmayogi platform
II. 5 KARMA POINTS are awarded for first course enrolment by users
III. 5 KARMA POINTS are awarded for completion of a course by users
IV. 5 KARMA POINTS for successful completion of an assessment related to a course
V. 10 additional KARMA POINTS for completing the courses within the specified time frame as mentioned in the capacity building plan appearing under the My iGOT section.
VI. KARMA POINTS are given for a maximum of 4 course completions per month. This limit does not apply to courses that are part of the capacity building plan under My iGOT section.
VII. 2 KARMA POINTS for rating a course by users.
3. The cumulative KARMA POINTS are continually calculated and regularly updated. These points serve to distinguish top learners within each department and across all departments. They will also be instrumental in forming leadership boards for individual departments, with the highest performing departments earning a place on the esteemed Karmayogi Wall of Fame.
4. Accordingly, all employees/GDSs of DoP are directed to continue learning on the iGOT Karmayogi platform and contribute towards a Viksit Bharat. Circles are requested to disseminate this new feature to all employees/GDSs to encourage wider consumption of courses available on the iGOT Karmayogi Portal.
This has the approval of Competent Authority. Pops
