AAI Invites Applications for Graduate, Diploma, and ITI Apprenticeships in Eastern Region
The Airports Authority of India (AAI), a Category-1 ‘Mini Ratna’ Public Sector Enterprise, has announced an opportunity for young professionals to engage in an Apprenticeship Training Program across various airports in the Eastern Region. This program aims to offer hands-on experience to recent graduates, diploma holders, and ITI-certified individuals under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
Positions Available for Apprenticeship
AAI is inviting applications for a total of 135 apprenticeship positions in the following categories:

Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Only Indian nationals residing in the Eastern Region are eligible.
Educational Qualifications:
- Graduate & Diploma: Full-time, regular degree or diploma in Engineering recognized by AICTE.
- ITI Trade: ITI/NCVT certificate in Computer Operator Programming Assistant, Electrical, Mechanic, or Electronics from an AICTE-recognized institute.
Age Limit: Candidates should be 26 years or below as of July 31, 2024. Age relaxation is available for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD as per government norms.
Year of Passing: Candidates must have completed their degree or diploma in 2022 or later.
Selection Process
The selection process includes:
- Merit-based shortlisting based on the qualifying examination.
- Interview and Document Verification through email.
- Final Selection based on interview results and medical fitness verification.

Upon successful application, candidates will receive a confirmation message on the portal. The last date to apply is October 31, 2024.

- The number of apprenticeship positions is subject to change.
- No TA/DA will be provided for the selection process.
- Apprentices shall not be entitled to permanent employment with AAI.
- All candidates must comply with the Apprentices Act, 1961, and AAI policies.
