Sir,

My wife was hospitalized for Normal delivery and postpartum haematoma ocurred which required urgent major surgery for exploration of perennial haematoma. The hospital charged me full NABH rate for Normal Delivery and 50% NABH rate for the surgery. Only 3 days accommodation was covered under the package and additional room rent was also charged. Additional medicines, nursing charges, etc. were also charged saying that only 3 days is applicable for the major treatment which is normal delivery and the treatment beyond 3 days will not be covered under CS(MA) package.
The hospital is Lakshmi Hospital, Ernakulam, Kerala (NAHB pre accreditation entry level hospital-PEH-2018-0434)( G.I., MH&FW OM NO.S.14021/08/2014-MS,dtd 11.07.2015)
Kindly clarify whether this is correct. Am I eligible for reimbursement of full rates charged by the hospital.
