With due approval of the Competent Authority, Administration issued pay fixation order after stepping up and accordingly revised pay was drawn by the employee. Next month DDO sought clarification on the stepping up issue with Administration and without any formal order of Admn. pay was lowered to the stage from which it was stepped up.
I want to know whether this act is justified by DDO specially when no order is there from Administration. Can pay once fixed, be lowered in such an arbitrary way. If no what action can be taken against this act.
