IF AN EMPLOYEE APPOINTED IN FEB 2015 UNDER 6TH CPC, HE WAS ENTITLED FOR INCREMENT ON 01-07-2016 ie APPROX 16 MONTHS BUT wef
01-01-2016 HIS PAY FIXED ACC. TO 7TH CPC. HERE POINT ARISE THAT HE HAS COMPLETED APPROX 10 MONTHS WITHOUT GAINING ANY INCREMENT & IN 7TH CPC TWO DATES OF INCREMENT ADOPTED 01 JAN & 01 JULY.
QUESTION: IN THIS CASE, SHOULDN’T HE BE GRANTED AN INCREMENT ON 01-01-2016 ON REVISED PAY AS PER 7TH CPC.
No. Those who are appointed they should complete their service for one year from 1st July to next year june then only they are eligible for increment as per the 6th CPC Rule.
