Sub: Grant of ex-post-facto sanction for journeys performed by officers/officials in Airlines other than Air India.
It is enjoined upon all concerned that a clarification has been received on the above subject, from IFA wing, O/O The CGDA New Delhi vide their letter No.IFA/10 dated 10 April 2017 (copy enclosed), wherein it is stipulated that, as per the guidelines issued by Ministry of Civil Aviation, those seeking post facto approval on ground of Non availability of seats they must enclose the documentary evidence regarding no seat is available in the All flight for the selected journey and a copy of ticket purchased for the journey by private airline is required to be enclosed.
Further, it is also stated that, since the orders on the subject are clear, necessary action needs to be taken in light of the guidelines issued by Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Civil Aviation.
