Fixation of pay during ACP

Shri. Surinder Singh asked:
I was appointed as LDC in the pay scale 3050-4590 on 08 May 1995. 1st ACP has been granted to me on 08 May 2007. Pay has been fixed @ Rs.4100/- PM wef 08 May 2007 after grant of Annual increment for the year 2007 without making an option (which was granted on 01 May 2007). Now pay has been fixed on 01 Jan 2006 as per the provision of 6th CPC.

Now I have made an option to fix my pay wef 01 Jul 2007 on grant of 1st ACP after grant of Annual increment for the year 2007. But Audit authorities does not agree stating that you can not make an option as you have not given such type of option at the time of fixation of pay in pre-revised scale. request clarify that Can I make an option now.

Your audit authorities are wrong.

You are entitled to exercise Option to fix your ACP pay after accrual of your July 2007 increment.
For any promotion /ACP granted after 01/01/2006,   the pay is required to be fixed in terms of Dept. of Expenditure’s OM F. No. 1/1/2008-IC dated 13/09/2008 by allowing  option For fixation from the date of promotion/ACP grant or from the date of regular increment

    Audit fellows do not possess the essence of the rule enacted. They want to write some objection for the sake of objection to satisfy their so called buraucrates of IA&AS. This dept.should cleaned up by the authorities.

    my case is also same , iam jht , joined in 21-4-95, got 1st acp on 21-4-07, when i was given ist acp with grade pay of Rs.4600- , it was objected by our pao on the ground that the orders regarding with grade pay are to be issued by the department and we were macp from 1-9-08 , but the same thing for the udc on 2nd acp given Rs.4200- on completion of 24 years are granted from their date of acp instead of macp date, in our nsso, field operations division , all the cadres investigators, strenographers, jhts are given macp , but udcs are given grade pay w.e.f. from the date of their acp , that also without any order from HOD, New Delhi, they were given grade pay depending on the order issued by jkour headquarters.

    Sir my pay before 6th pay commission was Rs 11950. In the last pay commission, I was granted one ACP from the scale of Rs 6500 and granted pay in the scale of Rs 10000/- in PS rank. In the 6th pay commission, my pay was fixed at Rs 22230/- as on 1.1.2006 with grade pay of Rs 6600/-. Though I have been granted one (third ACP) with grade pay of Rs 7600/-, the same is not being implemented with certain objections from our audit section. Sir, could you please clarify whether I am entitled to the third ACP with grade pay of Rs 7600/-. I may mention that during my entire service, I got one promotion only. Waiting for your kind reply.

    I joined Directorate of Education as a TGT in the pay scale of 5500-175-9000 on 05.01.2000. My basic pay was 6550 on 01.01.2006. will bunching be given to me? If yes then what should be the criteria? Will I get 17140 on 01.01.2006? Let it be known to me what should be my basic pay on 01.01.2006?Can junior TGT take more salary then senior TGT? Will my pay be stepped up?

    Dear pratap
    let us await OM concurring Anamoly Committee’s views. If accpected, bunching is the only solution to ease out the fixation problems of Seniors in the scale of 5500 with their juniors of 5000 scale to some extent let’s hope for the best
