Here is the Revised Pension Calculator based on Sixth Pay Commission Report approved by Cabinet. As per the Sixth Pay Commission recommendations which were later on implemented by Govt (Check the Office memorandum for Pension) revised Pension as on 01.01.06 will be the sum of 1.86 times of basic pension as on 01.01.06 and 40% of basic pension as fitments benefit. DA as on 01.01.06 will be 0% and expected DA as on 01.07.06, 01.01.07, 01.07.07, 01.01.08, and 01.07.08 are 2%, 6%, 9%, 12% and 16% respectively.

Taking these factors into account this revised Calculator has been prepared. Click the Button below which would take you to a new page where you can find the pension calculator. Press “Click to edit” button on the right top of the calculator to enter your pension details. Once your pension details are entered you will get the revised pension as on 01.01.06, and 01.09.08 and the Pension Arrears due.

Sub: Reduction in % of basic pension due to fixation of pension as per 5th and 6th PAY COMMISSIONS. Sir,

Most humbly I bring to your kind notice that I retired on 31st August, 1994 as ASST. DIRECTOR GENERAL from the Deptt. of Telecom. My pay band was Rs 3000 – 4500 and I drew Rs 4500/ at retirement, the highest of band. My pension was fixed at Rs 2158/ on average basis.

My pension was fixed at Rs 5878/ on 1.1. 1996 due to the report of Fifth Pay Commission and at Rs 13286/ as per 6th Pay Commission.

My pension has been reduced immensely. % of pension to highest of pay band at the above referred stages is shown in the following table.

It is said that no pensioner will get less than 50% of the starting salary. The new pensioners will be highly benefited creating another gap. The pensioners who retired before me will get still lower pension.

It is evident that the old pensioners have been completely neglected irrespective of their length of service or quality of service.

It is also observed that there is a huge difference in the pay bands of directors and above officers as compared to the lower cadre. This will create heart burning and imbalance in the service sector.

Kindly advise me on how to calculate the disability pension as per the 6th CPC. Currently I am drawing 20% disability pension ( Rs 465) + DA 218 = 683.

IN JUSTIC OF OFFICE SUPDT GR-11 SCALE 5500-9000 IN 6TH PC.YOU HAVE MERGED HD.CLERK SCALE WITH OFFICE SUPDT GR-II IN SAME PAY BAND I.E 4200.

I am widow pensioner.my husband retired on 31-12-1984 in 650/- basic(pay scale 550-750),my basic F/pension refixed in 01-01-1996 Rs.1650/-,at present I get 3639+100(medical)=3739/-,What is my basic widow/Family pension after 6cpc’s fixation.

respected sir, kindle tell me what about actual position. 1 was retired w e f 30/11/05. that time basic was 4900 in the pay scale 4000-100-6000. after 6th p c govt declare 50% pension in all pensioner w e f 1/1/06. please tell me my basic pension— total pension—-and arrear. i was served in paramilitery forces 22 years. please answer me as erly as possible.

Sir, I have retired on 31st July after completing 35yrs of service as GDMO in Delhi Govt in the scale of CMO -SAG with basic pay of Rs 22,400(stagnation of 4yrs).Pl tell me the pension benefits as per 6th pay recommendations and the total pension, also the arrears from 1/1/2006 to 31/7/2008—will i get the full arrears at one time of the pay as per 6th pay commission

I am widow family pensioner.my husband retired on 30-10-1982 & was granted pension of Rs.364/- per month ,I do not have any advise from PSA on My Husbands notional fixation pay w.e.f. 01-01-1986 & so basic eligible family pension as on 01-01-1996 At present I get 1913+900=2813/-,which you will agree is grossly incorrect & not appropriate. Can you please guide me as to what pay scale should have been fixed as on 1-1-1986 & arreares accreued thereon till date. I will be highly obliged if you help me in this regards.
What is my basic widow/Family pension after 6cpc’s fixation.Kindly advise me on how to calculate Family Pension arrears receivable to me – widow of the defence civilians as per the 6th CPC.

I am a retired employee from Atomic Energy wish to know my Pension calculation of 6 th
c.p.c and arears.1.86 40 % DA 16% is ok . Whether the percentage of Commutation will be reduced from the pension. Basic Pension Rs.4999/- Commutted 1999/- Retired at 30.11.2004 after completion of 33 years and 6 months at a scale of 5000-150-8000 equal to 9300-34000 new scale.D.O.B 30.4.46 retired voluntarily prior to superannuation after 33 years and 6 months Joined in 1971 Feb 13th. Pls reply

1. please let me know entitlement of basic pension w.e.f. 01 Jan 2006 for pre 2006 pensioners of the rank of Lt. Nol and calculations as to how, did it.
2. Please let me know the revised basic pension of re-employed officer after 6th CPC, whose last pay drawn was 17100/- in the pay scale of 14300-18300and retired after rendering 10.5 years of service, along with details of calculations.

I want to know that how to calculate Disability Pension. I was discharged from Service in Oct 2005with 30% disability (equal to 50%) and my basic disabiltiy pension was 1163 (750 + 50% DP). Now how to calculate the basic for Disability Pension .

I retired on 31st october 1976 from CDA Patna as S.O. govt. of India, I was drawing basic of 3030 and DP 1515 i.e. Rs. 4545 per month as on 1.1.2006. Now I am 90 years old as on 28.10.2008. I am getting only 8044 as pension per month including 100 as medical allowance. Old age benefit of 30% wef 1.1.2006 and 40% wef 28.10.2008 has been due to me but whether it is being paid to me or not please clarify.

I joined Indian Navy on 16th June 1960 and retired on 16th June 1976 at the Rank of Chief petty Officer. After the 6th Pay com my revised pension is only Rs 5800. I have some doubts on it. Please let me know what should be my revised pension

Not able to search Pension Calculator(Defence Pension) However I am sending data to know my revised pension. I joined IAF as Clk GD(Group III) on 26.8.1977. Retired on 31.8.1992. My Basic Pension at the time of retirement was 479. Commuted Value of Pension was 215 pm. I am in receipt of Pension Basic 1607 and 804 as Dearness Pension before 01.01.2006. What will be my current Basic Pension and arrears till Nov 08 . Pl send details month wise.

I want to know that how to calculate Disability Pension. I was discharged from Service in Jan 2004 with 30% disability (equal to 50%) and my basic disabiltiy pension was 750.(Cumutted Rs 348) Residual Pension Rs 427 (only Rs 427 is giving till date ) +50%DP from 01 Apr 2004 not given and also DA as applicable for basic from Jan 2004 is Not giving till date Please circulat to my Bank A/C and Copy of revise letter for +50% DP from 01 APril 04 and DA for Basic pension Allowed for Disability Pension. Sir, Can anybody enlighten me about a peculiar kind of anomoly I have? I have worked in a Def Ac cts Deptfor 17 years till august 1989 and opted for full commutation. My pension was restored in full from 25.7.2006 at Rs. 1417 BP and Rs.709 DR. Ihave joined a central University, IGNOU in august 1989 immediately after my technical resignation and worked for 19 years and retired as Asst Registrar on 31.8.2008 with a revised BP + GP of Rs.30860/- pm. My restored earlier pension under VI CPC is Rs.3500 and University pension Rs.8884/= pm, both taken together being Rs.12384/-pm. Even though I have completed more tahn 33 years of service, both services taken together, I am not getting pension equivalent to 50% of the last pay drawn i.e. Rs.15430/- pm. My successor pensioners of same grade are getting more pension than me. I find this as a gross injustice to me. The data in a nutshell is like this: Total Service 36 years; Basic Pension pm Rs. 3500+8884= 12384; 50% of last pay drawn Rs.15430/=; Service in DAD: 17 years; Service in IGNOU: 19 yrs; Kindly let me know the course of action available to me. Thanks.

The matter has got settled with the issue of an office memorandum dated 10.12.2009 by G of I notifying the linkage of full pensions to twenty years to all those retired from 01.01.2006, instead of 02.09.2008.

Sir, I have retired from Army on 01 May 1994 on completion of 24 year service as rank in havildar and re-employed again in central govt on May 1995. in gp ‘c’ post. Now i will be retire from this service on superannuation strength on 31st January 2010 (14 year and 7 month). As per 6th pay commission, on 20 years of service, will get full pension. Kindly advice and intimate me how pension will be calculate in average of 20 years or 33 year of service . Now my scale is 9300-34000 (Pb-2) as per 6th pay commission. and date of birth is 08 January 1950. Request to reply in e-mail ID please.

Hony/ Capt Keti Suryanarayana became Hony/Lt on 15th August 2006 and Hony/Capt on 26th Jan 2007. I was retired as a Hony.Capt. on 31.01.2007 with basic Salary of Rs.10,850/- and with pension Basic Rs.8,138/-. After revision of sixth cpc how much pension basic will i get? Dear Sir,I joined IAF on 25 Jan 1974 and retired on 31 Jan 1989 after 15 years of service.There were 2 Pay commissions out after my leaving Air Force.My first pension was fixed as Rs.375/- on discharge and Rs.1275 was fixed during cpc 1996.I was Med.Asst(Group-III).Now after 2006 cpc my pension is fixed as Rs.3636/-.Kindly inform me through my mail ID as to what exactly I should get including everything particularly when the Govt.did announce special fixations for all retirees prior to 1996.Thanks

your husband’s pre-revised scale of pay, his basic pay at the time of retirement and pension details such as commutation portion etc are required to calculate the family pension drawn by you

Income criteria for dependency is Rs.3500/- pm and thus your father being a pensioner of 3500/-pm is not a dependent to you.

Sir, I have been retired as Upper Division Clerk form a category a defence training establishment from 01 Jan 2005. My P.P.O. No is C/MISC/16385/2005. In accordance with the 6th pay commission recommendations, my pension was required to be revised and arrears paid. So far, I have not received any amount accrued due to revision of pension. Moreover, on inquiry from my P.D.O., I was informed that D.A. on my pension is stagnated at 47%. After that, no D.A. was added to my pension. I request the concerned authority to kindly let me know, when I will get the benefit of revised pensions and arrears due.

You have to contact pay and accounts officer in the organization from where you retired to set right your pension issue. They will help you to represent your case with central pension payment agency
